It takes place in the town of Burriana-Castellon (Spain), specifically on Arenal Beach.

No, it’s a race with drafting prohibited at all distances, meaning that in the cycling section, bicycles must maintain a distance of 12 meters.

You can pick up your race number either on Friday afternoon from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or on the day of the race from 6:15 AM to 7:15 AM. We recommend allowing plenty of time. REMEMBER THAT YOUR ID IS REQUIRED TO PICK UP YOUR RACE NUMBERS.

Bike check-in takes place on Saturday from 6:00 AM. There will be two separate entrances for HALF/AQUABIKE distances and another for OLYMPIC+/SHORT.

Since this is a non-drafting event, meaning riding in a group is not permitted, the use of a triathlon-specific bicycle, better known as a “TT bike,” is permitted, as is the use of disc brakes. Mountain bikes and gravel bikes are not permitted.

It will depend on the final water temperature, which is currently slightly above 20°C. For the HALF/AQUABIKE distance, it will almost certainly be permitted but not mandatory, and for the OLYMPIC+/SHORT distance, it will be prohibited if the temperature exceeds 22°C. This measurement will be taken one hour before the start.
